Prof. Thomas Adjadeh is a Senior Lecturer of Pedology and Head Department of Soil Science, School of Agriculture, College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana. He obtained his Ph.D. in Soil Science from Iwate University, Japan, in 1999. He has been teaching at the University of Ghana since 2000. He teaches fundamentals of soil science at the undergraduate level and applied pedology courses, namely Introduction to Paleopedology to Level 400 students and Forensic Soil Science to Ph.D. students.
His research areas over the years cover soil properties and their management, heavy metals in soil environments, pan soils in the Accra Plains, and the effect of long-term irrigation on soil properties.
